At the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, SoundBeacon's favorite Broadway musical entertainer, Tommy Martinez, is currently playing Young Max in Dr. Seuss's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (now thru Dec 29th).
SoundBeacon Executive Producer Glenna Bowman and Board Member Rochelle Lacy were in San Diego last weekend to check out all the fun in person. What a great cast! Tommy Martinez was funny and kind-hearted as Young Max, Edward Watts really was a mean one - until his heart grew and he wasn't; Steve Gunderson was delightful as Old Max. We also have to give a shout out to Sadie Tess Coleman for delivering a magical performance as Cindy-Lou Who, as well as, Bets Malone whose extraordinary voice brought a special vibrance to the role of Mama Who.
